Slipper equal fav in Warwick Farm trial

Sunday 5 February 2017, 6:35pm

Equal Golden Slipper favourite She Will Reign gets back to business in an 800 metre barrier trial at Warwick Farm.

The Gary Portelli-trained filly was given a couple of weeks off after her win in the Inglis Nursery in December.

She earned $291,000 for her Inglis Nursery win but that doesn't count towards the Golden Slipper on March 18, leaving her with $16,800 from her debut Kembla Grange win.

Portelli plans to run her in the Silver Slipper on February 18 and the Reisling Stakes two weeks later.

She Will Reign and Magic Millions winner Houtzen head the Golden Slipper market at $8 ahead of Khan and Menari at $11.
