Yet another 2YO winner for Lindsay Park

Wednesday 15 February 2017, 4:29pm

Lindsay Park has continued its success with its crop of two-year-olds this season with another winner at Sandown.

The victory of Justice Glory in the Comcater Plate on Wednesday was the stable's 11th individual winner of 18 juvenile races this season.

Ridden by Mark Zahra, Justice Glory ($5.50) scored a long neck victory over Undoubtable Miss ($3.20) with Leather'n'Lace ($10) a short half-head away third.

Co-trainer Ben Hayes said his father David had been saying this year's crop of two-year-olds was the stable's best for 20 years.

"It's a good year to become one of the trainers in the stable," Hayes said.

Justice Glory ran third on debut at Seymour last month and will now be aimed at black type in the Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Flemington on March 18.

"We really like her. I would say she's in our top bunch," Hayes said.

"We've got the Thoroughbred Breeders in mind for her and hopefully if all goes to plan she'll be competitive in that."

Hayes said the stable would have five runners in the Blue Diamond Stakes on Saturday week as Lindsay Park chases a ninth win in the race.

Confirmed runners are Catchy, Tulip, Formality, Muraahib and Wait For No One while Will's Bid will be their sixth starter if he can force his way into the field.

He is currently 37th in the order of entry.

Lindsay Park's last success in the Blue Diamond came with Reann in 2008.
