Gold Coast trainer Tony Edmonds has narrowed down the Golden Slipper lead-up options for Magic Millions winner Houtzen.
The filly has not raced since her win in the $2 million Gold Coast feature in January which elevated her to favouritism for the next month's $3.5 million Golden Slipper.
But since then, She Will Reign has assumed favouritism based on a nine-length barrier trial win and her strong performance in Saturday's Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill.
"We have got her comeback run down to being one of two venues - Eagle Farm on March 4 or the Black Opal at Canberra on March 5," Edmonds said.
"We only want to give her one run before the Slipper and while we aren't afraid of She Will Reign, we don't want to take her on in the Reisling Stakes in the lead-up."
The Reisling Stakes will be the Gary Portelli-trained She Will Reign's first test over the 1200 metres of the Golden Slipper.
