Australia's second highest rated horse Hartnell is the 58kg topweight for the Doncaster Mile, receiving one kilogram more than Black Heart Bart and Hong Kong entries Beauty Only and Helene Paragon.
Hartnell is a doubtful runner with his Godolphin stablemate Hauraki, the $8 favourite, to carry 56.5kg.
Hauraki won the Epsom Handicap in the spring over the Randwick 1600 metres carrying 56kg.
The world's highest ranked sprinter Chautauqua has also been given 56.5kg and is on the second line of betting after connections sprung a surprise by paying a late entry fee for the $3 million race on April 1.
Chautauqua won over 1400 metres as a three-year-old but since then has been kept to shorter races.
After his last-start third in the Rubiton Stakes, owner Rupert Legh and senior trainer John Hawkes said they believed as an older horse, he was showing he needed more ground.
The Kris Lees-trained Sense Of Occasion will carry 51.5kg and is exempt from ballot courtesy of his win in the Group Two Villiers Stakes in December.
Dual Group One winner Global Glamour is also assured of a start for winning the Flight Stakes and has 51kg.
Melbourne Cup winner Almandin is the 58kg topweight for the Sydney Cup with his stablemate, last year's winner Gallante, to carry 54kg, an increase of 2.5kg.
