Trainer Kelly Schweida has shown his confidence in apprentice Rebecca Williams by retaining her for unlucky last-start runner Outraged at Doomben.
Outraged won last year's Townsville Cup but is yet to win in open company in Brisbane.
He gets the chance to erase that statistic in the Powering The Happy Hcp (2200m) on Saturday.
Williams rode Outraged to win a benchmark race at Eagle Farm last month but was the victim of circumstances in his last start when he came from 10th on the turn to finish fourth, beaten half a length, behind Explosive One at Doomben two weeks ago.
"Outraged probably should have won but Rebecca was a victim of circumstances," Schweida said.
"He can be a funny horse to ride and you need to get going early on him.
"Rebecca's claim means Outraged gets in here on the minimum. He came back big from a spell and it has taken a while to get him back firing."
Williams has been in fine form since moving to Toowoomba from Victoria last year and has clocked up nine metropolitan winners in recent weeks.
