Safety concerns caused by high winds have forced the Victorian race meeting at Stony Creek to be abandoned after two races.
Jockeys met stewards after the opening race on Monday to discuss their concerns before agreeing to ride in the second event.
A ballot was taken following the victory of the Craig Newitt-ridden Go The Wolf after which the meeting was called off.
Racing Victoria steward Brent Scarlett said safety was paramount.
He said jockeys reported a number of their mounts were shifting during the running of the race and riders were not able to hear each other.
