Apprentice Tiffani Brooker finished the best month of her career with a double on Wednesday and hopes to carry the momentum in the lead up to the winter carnival.
Brooker rode nine winners in March and now leads the Brisbane apprentices premiership with 26 winners and is equal fourth in the senior jockeys's title race.
She has five rides at Doomben on Saturday including top mare Divine Centuri for her master Stuart Kendrick in the Open (1050m).
"I come out of my time later this year so it is important to keep things going," Brooker said.
Brooker will ride Beyond Brave for one of her biggest fans, trainer Dan Bougoure, in the Three-Year-Old Hcp (1350m).
"Tiffani has had seven rides for me and won four, been second twice and fourth once. In fact her past four rides for me have won," Bougoure said.
Brooker won on the Bougoure-trained Like A Ruler and Dreams Aplenty for trainer John Zielke on Wednesday.
