Jockey Kathy O'Hara continued her great run for trainer Jason Coyle when Sweet Serendipity won his first stakes race at Doomben.
O'Hara brought up her 14th winner this season for Warwick Farm-based Coyle when she produced a smart ride to lead all the way to win the Listed Ascot Handicap (1200m).
Coyle said O'Hara had been in great form and won at race at Wyong for him on White Moss on Wednesday.
"Sweet Serendipity is in career-best form and Kathy is in great form as well," Coyle said.
"She really knows how to rate a horse in front."
Sweet Serendipity scored his ninth career win and showed he was just as adept on dry tracks and he had been racing on wet Sydney tracks.
"Whether we press on into the winter remains to seen. I am reluctant to send him now he is racing so well but I will just see how he pulls up," Coyle said.
O'Hara said she had been confident a long way out after she was given an easy lead.
