Sword Of Light's second-straight win over a mile at Caulfield could have earned the filly a crack at the Australasian Oaks.
The Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra-trained three-year-old backed up her April 8 win with a solid half-length success as the $2.80 favourite in Saturday's $250,000 VOBIS Gold Reef (1600m).
Ellerton indicated another step up in distance to 2000m for the Oaks in Adelaide on May 6 was now a distinct possibility for the filly to chase a Group One win.
"She's a Group winner as a two-year-old and she's probably added a string to her bow," Ellerton said.
"She has stretched out in trip and was strong through the line at a mile today.
"So we'll certainly think about Adelaide in a fortnight.
"We've got nothing to lose if she pulls up all right."
Sword Of Light won a Blue Diamond Preview as a juvenile but then went winless in her next 12 starts until breaking through again at Caulfield last start.
With Damian Lane aboard on Saturday, Sword Of Light got the right run, one out and one back, tracking second favourite Think Babe and then responded when Lane asked her to extend in the straight.
She levelled up to Think Babe inside the 200m and edged clear of her late to win by half a length with another 1-1/4 lengths to Ana Royale third.
