Jockey Kerrin McEvoy has been suspended for three meetings after pleading guilty to careless riding at Canterbury.
McEvoy allowed the Chris Waller-trained Noire ($3.50) to shift in on Cymbalism ($5.50) at the 100m mark of the Vinery Plate (1100m) on Wednesday.
Noire took out the race while Cymbalism, also trained by Waller and ridden by Corey Brown, finished fourth.
McEvoy's suspension runs from April 30 to May 5 meaning he will not miss a Saturday meeting.
