Luke Dittman will be fit to ride favourite Snitzkraft at Eagle Farm after an injury scare at Ipswich.
Dittman missed his last ride on Wednesday when ambulance officers stood him down after he hit his left hand.
"I was at the jump-outs this morning and the hand is a little bit tender but nothing else. I will be right to ride on Saturday," Dittman said.
He has been aboard Snitzkraft in all his four starts which include two wins in January.
Snitzkraft is the early favourite in the Listed Dalrello Stakes (1200m) which is his first step towards the Group One J J Atkins Stakes in June.
Trainer Kelso Wood is carefully monitoring the weather and the Eagle Farm track before committing Snitzkraft to a start.
Like many trainers Wood was not impressed with the way Eagle Farm held up during track gallops on Tuesday morning.
"It didn't look good," Wood said.
With a fine and sunny day in Brisbane on Thursday, Brisbane Race Club officials are confident the track will improve from its current soft (7) rating.
BRC general manager David Whimpey said it was hoped the track might even get back to a soft (5) by Saturday.
