Trainer Pat Carey to face RAD Board

Mornington trainer Pat Carey faces a conduct charge following an alleged incident with another trainer at trackwork.

Racing Victoria stewards have charged Carey with behaviour that constitutes misconduct or improper conduct.

Stewards allege that at trackwork on May 15 ,Carey grabbed the clothing of fellow trainer Trent Pennuto while he was leading a horse, pushing him towards the horse stalls.

It is further alleged he struck Pennuto in the face.

The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear the charge on a date to be determined.
