Egg Tart has been given a conditioning barrier trial ahead of her attempt to add the Queensland Oaks to her Group One victory in the Schweppes Oaks in Adelaide.
The filly finished fifth in the 1030m-heat at Rosehill on Friday with Kerrin MEvoy only asking her to quicken late.
She is the TAB's $2.80 favourite for the Oaks (2400m) on June 3.
Her Chris Waller-trained stablemate Dawn Wall remains in the mix after being scratched from the Doomben Roses (2000m) last Saturday with an elevated temperature.
"I have been happy with the progress made by Dawn Wall over the past week which included a gallop on Thursday morning on the Gold Coast," Waller said.
"It is still our intention to race in the Queensland Oaks on Saturday the 3rd of June and (she) will have two more gallops in preparation for this race.
Another stablemate, Oklahoma Girl, finished second in the Group Two Roses to the Darren Weir-trained Kenedna who ran second to Egg Tart at Morphettville.
