Clipper has another road trip ahead of her after racing through the Highway Handicap series in style at Randwick.
The three-year-old filly claimed her second Highway on Saturday by a comfortable margin and a Melbourne trip beckons.
Canberra trainer Matt Dale revealed those plans after Clipper recorded her fourth win in six starts in beating Conniving.
Dale's ninth Highway victory puts him one clear of Dunn as the leading trainer in the series for country horses and caps a week also highlighted by the birth of his fourth child, daughter Lara.
"We'll let the dust settle, see how she comes through but there's a couple of races I had earmarked for her in Melbourne if she was able to progress," Dale said.
He nominated a three-year-old fillies race over 1100m in Caulfield on July 1 as a possible target.
Clipper, the $1.75 favourite, justified that billing with a strong performance on a track rated heavy a fortnight after she claimed her first Highway over 1100m at Randwick.
"She profiled well today coming back in trip and going onto a heavy track and that showed in the last hundred metres," Dale said.
