The National Stud, in partnership with Atlas Stallions Ltd and Aquis Farms, is delighted to announce that multiple Group winning sprinter Spill The Beans will reverse shuttle from Australia to the UK for the 2018/2019 northern hemisphere breeding season in a deal brokered by McKeever/Ferguson Bloodstock.

In doing so Spill The Beans will be the first son of current Australian Champion sire sensation Snitzel to stand in Europe.

Snitzel has equalled Danehill's single season record of 26 Australian Stakes winners and in the process set a new Australian record for stallion earnings in a season with AU$16.2 million. He has also completed an unprecedented three generation sequence of Champion Sires from Danehill, to Redoutes Choice to Snitzel.

Bred and raced by Arrowfield Stud, Spill The Beans was undefeated at two and a multiple Group winning sprinter at three, including the Group II QTC Cup (6.5f). He defeated Group I winners Pride of Dubai, Stratum Star and Holler in a career spanning 11 races showing his consistency and soundness.

Currently standing his second southern hemisphere season for $11,000 at Aquis Farms'

Queensland base in Australia, he was the most popular first season sire in Australia in 2016, covering 202 mares.

Arrowfield Stud's Jon Freyer commented,"Snitzel has now become the dominant sire in Australasia producing a plethora of brilliant two year olds cable of winning the mile Classics at three. Colts or fillies, Golden Slipper or Cox Plate, his trademark is his class and versatility.

"Spill the Beans is a highly talented, good looking son of Snitzel. He had dazzling early pace, a high cruising speed and great tenacity. Sound and genuine, he has all the attributes owners, trainers and breeders most admire."

A northern hemisphere stud fee for Spill The Beans will be announced at a later date.
