RV appoints acting head of integrity team

Tim Robinson is to become the acting boss of Racing Victoria's integrity services department after the departure of Dayle Brown.

RV announced on Tuesday that Robinson, RV's current head of investigations and intelligence, would assume the role of acting executive general manager - integrity services, from December 1.

Brown announced his resignation last month sand will take on the role of deputy chief executive for Greyhound Racing NSW.

He finishes with RV at the end of November.

"The search for Dayle's full-time replacement is well advanced and we will have a seamless transition with the appointment of Tim Robinson as our acting head of integrity services," RV chief executive Giles Thompson said.

"Tim has been an integral member of our integrity services team for the past four years after a distinguished law enforcement career."

Thompson also reiterated the importance of integrity team to RV and the industry.

"Integrity is the lifeblood of our industry and why RV is proud to invest significant money and resources to protect the integrity of our sport," Mr Thompson said.

"I have consistently spoken publicly and, just as importantly, to all our stakeholders about the importance of integrity and also the fact that we are lucky in this state to have a team that works so hard every day to maintain the integrity of our sport."
