Alizee wins barrier trial at Randwick

Monday 17 December 2018, 6:45pm

Dual Group One winner Alizee has signalled she is back and a force to be reckoned with, winning a Randwick barrier trial in stylish fashion.

The winner of the 2017 Flight Stakes and the Queen Of The Turf in the autumn, Alizee suffered a bleeding attack at trackwork while being prepared for the spring and was automatically stood down for three months.

She has had two barriers trials this month, running second in the first over 900m and working home to win on Monday over 1050m.

By Sepoy out of Essaouira, Alizee is a half sister to Group One winner Astern and is trained by James Cummings for Godolphin.
