Brisbane filly Missy Longstocking enhanced an already imposing record with a dominant win in the Group Three Thoroughbred Club Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.
Miss Longstocking, who started the $4.20 favourite, was having her first Melbourne start but she looked right at home as jockey Damian Browne drove her to a decisive lead at the 150m.
She kept her advantage to beat Anatina ($6) by three lengths with Bulbula ($9) third, a further head away.
Trainer Liam Birchley, who paid $7,500 for the three-year-old, said she just keeps doing her job every race.
Including the $90,000 first prize money she won on Saturday, Miss Longstocking has now earned $633,000 from 8 wins in 11 starts since making her debut 12 months ago.
"I would love to have another ten of her," Birchley said.
"She just keeps doing her job - she tries very hard and even though everything didn't go with her today she still went good."
Birchley said he would now consider entering Miss Longstocking for the $500,000 Coolmore Stud Stakes on Victoria Derby day.
"She got a little bit lost near the turn but I think she got the hang of it by the end," Birchley said.
Brown said the filly never stops trying.
"I nursed her for as long as I could and she surprised me with a kick as she got around the corner," Browne said.
