Star filly Guelph will have eight rivals as she bids for a fourth Group One victory in Wednesday's Thousand Guineas at Caulfield.
Should Guelph translate her odds-on favouritism into victory in the 1600m fillies feature, it would give trainer Peter Snowden, jockey Kerrin McEvoy and the Darley team a Guineas double in Melbourne after they took out the Caulfield Guineas with Long John on Saturday.
Guelph, clearly the highest-rated filly in the nine-horse field, has barrier five while Thousand Guineas Prelude winner Gregers will jump from barrier two.
Trainer John O'Shea has two runners including Bound For Earth who defeated Guelph first-up in the Furious Stakes in Sydney but has been no match for her in two subsequent starts in the Tea Rose Stakes and Group One Flight Stakes.
O'Shea's other runner Gypsy Diamond has the inside barrier while Godiva Rock has drawn the outside.
The Darren Weir-trained last start winner May's Dream has barrier three.
