Hobart Cup postponed after storm

A wild storm has forced the bulk of Sunday's Hobart Cup meeting to be abandoned.

Officials called the meeting off after winds reaching 130kph hit the track, blowing hoardings around the course and compromising safety.

The Group Three Hobart Cup will now be run as a twilight meeting on along with the other abandoned races.
