The cheaper of two horses Emirates Park bought at last year's Easter yearling sale is one step further on her journey to a multi-million pay day.
Mossfun cost $85,000 and scored her second win from two starts in Saturday's Listed Widden Stakes at Rosehill as she heads to the Golden Slipper.
At home over the road at the Hawkes' stable, $4 million colt Emaratee is just beginning his training with Emirates general manager Trevor Lobb saying he could could join Mossfun on a Slipper path.
"She is a lovely filly and a real racehorse," Lobb said.
"Emaratee is going to be more of a three-year-old but there is still enough time for him to take part in the autumn.
"But the filly is well on the way and she has plenty of ticker.
"She won the Inglis Nursery and the plan was always to put her away and get her ready for this race and the upcoming races going to the Slipper.
"Her prize money from the Inglis race doesn't count so it's good to get this out of the way."
Under Tommy Berry, Mossfun ($4) took control of the Widden (1100m) at the top of the straight with Ygritte ($16) running on to finish a length second ahead of favourite Twirl ($2.10) who was one-paced over the final stages.
"Emirates is in a building phase and things are going well," Lobb said.
"We have about 20 horses in work with a lot of trainers and we have breeding stock as well."
Emirates Park is owned by Dubai businessman, His Excellency Nasser Lootah, who has been active in Australian racing since the mid 1980s.
