Cox Plate winner Shamus Award will return to the scene of his finest racing moment for an exhibition gallop at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
Shamus Award is scheduled to be one of two leading Australian Guineas contenders to gallop with the Cummings stable also sending Eurozone to the track for a separate between-races workout.
Trainer Danny O'Brien has aimed Shamus Award at Saturday week's Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington second-up after the colt's third to Moment Of Change and Eurozone in the Orr Stakes on February 8.
Eurozone was nominated for Saturday's Group One Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield but connections decided to bypass the race and also go straight into the Guineas.
Eurozone is one of three horses on the third line of Guineas betting at $8 with Shamus Award at $9.
