Belle Couture entered for Flemington

Monday 5 May 2014, 5:50pm

High-profile filly Belle Couture is scheduled to get her first look on Saturday at the Flemington straight course where her famous half-sister Black Caviar claimed eight of her 25 wins.

Belle Couture was a dominant 2-1/2 length winner over 1200m at Caulfield on April 21 after finishing a close second on debut at Bendigo in December.

The Danny O'Brien-trained three-year-old is one of 28 entries in Saturday's Spotless Plate (1200m) where she could meet another filly from a famous family.

Nicamorae from the David Hayes stable is also entered as she tries for a winning hat-trick after breaking her maiden at Wangaratta in April and following up with a 1000m win at Flemington on Anzac day.

She is a half sister to the Hayes-trained Group One winners Niconero and Nicconi.
