Bush trainer fined over lack of vet care

Horsham trainer Paul Preusker has been fined $5000 for failing to provide veterinary treatment to one of his horses last year.

Preusker pleaded guilty to a charge of not getting veterinary treatment for a two-year-old filly in his care in November and December during a Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board hearing on Tuesday.

Preusker has until November 30 to pay the fine.

The trainer recently returned from a three-month suspension.
