A week of wet weather has taken its toll with Saturday's Kembla Grange meeting in doubt.

Racing NSW stewards inspected the south coast track on Friday and found it to be in the heaviest range with some parts unsuitable for racing.

A further inspection will be made on Saturday morning.

The feature NSW meeting will be held at Randwick with the track heavy on the eve of the Warwick Stakes.

Several carnival horses have already been withdrawn from Randwick with trainers weighing up options in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Rain is expected to continue in Sydney and on the coast well into next week.
