They have been a dominant force in 1400-metre Group Ones at Caulfield since 2010 and trainer Peter Moody and jockey Luke Nolen are poised to strike again on Saturday.

Nolen rides Moment Of Change in the Memsie Stakes with the Moody-trained gelding chasing his fourth win at the highest level over the distance on his home track.

Moody favours Moment Of Change as his best chance over stablemate Dissident, with Moody and Nolen out to add to their six Group Ones over the course and distance since 2010.

Moment Of Change has claimed the Rupert Clarke Stakes in 2012 and the CF Orr and Futurity Stakes this year, while champion Black Caviar won the CF Orr in 2012 and Typhoon Tracy was successful in the CF Orr in 2010 and 2011.

The combination are also no strangers to Memsie Stakes success having won with King's Rose in 2011 when it was a Group Two race.

Moody has aimed Moment Of Change at the weight-for-age Memsie second-up and said the six-year-old worked super on Tuesday on the Caulfield course proper over 1000m, alongside Dissident.

The trainer said Randwick Guineas winner Dissident got a bit lost in his return to Melbourne working left-handed, having raced in Sydney last preparation and completed his lead-up work in Queensland and NSW in the right-handed direction.

"He (Dissident) hadn't been the Melbourne direction for a while so it took him a while to get on his right leg," Moody said.

"It will be interesting how he takes that into Saturday, but certainly Moment Of Change is the pick of my two at this stage at this track and trip."

Moment Of Change finished second to Hard Stride first-up in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes when he lumped 62kg.

Dissident was due to kick off his spring in last Saturday's Warwick Stakes in Sydney but Moody decided to bypass that race because of the heavy track.
