Tye Angland's luckless defeat on Scissor Kick in Saturday's $1 million Golden Rose has been compounded by a careless riding suspension.
The jockey was outed for three meetings for shifting in aboard Specific Choice approaching the first turn in the McGrath Estate Agents Handicap at Rosehill.
He will ride at the George Main Stakes meeting before beginning the penalty and will return in time for the Rosehill meeting on September 27, meaning he won't miss a Saturday fixture.
Angland was trapped wide on Scissor Kick from an awkward draw and the horse did a grand job to be beaten a long head by Hallowed Crown.
