Golden Rose winner Hallowed Crown will not run in the Caulfield Guineas with the Coolmore Stud Stakes his next Group One target.
The colt maintained his unbeaten record when he collared Scissor Kick close to the line in Saturday's $1 million at Golden Rose at Rosehill.
James Cummings, who trains in partnership with his grandfather Bart, said Hallowed Crown would run in the Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) in Sydney on October 4 with the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington over the same distance four weeks later.
It is the same path the Chris Waller-trained Zoustar took last year when he won the Golden Rose before adding the Group Two Roman Consul and the Coolmore.
Hallowed Crown took his record to four wins from as many starts with his long head win over Scissor Kick on Saturday.
The victory was James Cummings' first at Group One level and the 267th for Bart.
The Paul Messara-trained Scissor Kick will have his next start in the Stan Fox Stakes on the way to the Caulfield Guineas.
Scissor Kick is at $10 in Guineas markets which are headed by Chivalry at $4.60.
