He's Your Man has moved up the Caulfield Cup order of entry after his Kingston Town Stakes win in Sydney and subsequent 1kg weight penalty.
The Chris Waller-trained import passed the first ballot clause for the Caulfield Cup with his victory in Saturday's Group Three Kingston Town Stakes over 2000m at Rosehill.
A 1kg penalty was announced on Monday, moving him from 50kg to 51kg and up to 54th in the order of entry from 94th.
The Caulfield Cup has a field limit of 18.
Racing Victoria's Greg Carpenter said the penalty was the same he gave to the previous two winners of the Kingston Town Stakes, Prince Cheri (2013) and Stout Hearted (2012).
After Saturday's win Waller indicated the Group One Metropolitan (2400m) in Sydney or Turnbull Stakes (2000m) in Melbourne could be He's Your Man's next start.
The import was given 53.5kg in The Metropolitan when weights were released on Monday.
He is also nominated for the Epsom Handicap (1600m) which is on the same day as the Metropolitan and Turnbull on October 4.
