Chad Schofield's appeal against a suspension for improper riding will be heard by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal on Monday.
The jockey withdrew his application for a stay of proceedings after VCAT said it could hear the appeal on Monday, at least a week earlier than originally anticipated.
Schofield was suspended for 32 meetings after Racing Victoria stewards found him guilty of improper riding aboard Saguaro in a race at Mornington on September 17.
Schofield had his appeal to the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board dismissed last Friday.
Both Schofield's lawyer and Racing Victoria's legal representative stressed the need for the case to be heard as quickly as possible.
