Doctors have cleared emerging apprentice Brodie Loy to take a promising book of Warwick Farm rides on Wednesday.

Loy was involved in a fall at Wangaratta on Monday when his mount Cheerful Dane, trained by his mother Natalie, clipped heels at the 200m.

He was winded but conscious and precautionary X-rays cleared the youngster of any fractures.

"It was lucky there were no other horses behind him, otherwise it could have been a lot worse," his mother said.

"He's up and about and walking around although I think he's still a bit dazed from all the morphine and stuff they have given him."

Loy is expected to figure prominently in the Sydney apprentices' title now that he has moved to Warwick Farm to continue his career under trainer David Pfieffer.

His six mounts on Wednesday include a ride for Godolphin when he partners Berrichon in the Hyland Race Colours Handicap.

Although he has lowered his riding weight to 52kg, Loy won't be able to use all of his 3kg allowance on Berrichon, a last-start Kembla Grange placegetter.

Loy will also ride evergreen bush sprinter Jest Crewsin' in the TAB Betting Season Handicap.

A nine-year-old with more than $400,000 in earnings, Jest Crewsin' ran an eye-catching race at triple-figure odds against much stronger opposition at Randwick last week.

Forced to sit wide after landing midfield, Jest Crewsin' finished off in an 1100-metre Welter won by That's A Good Idea from I'm All The Talk.

They will be two of the main chances in the Listed Lightning Handicap at Randwick on Saturday.

Two well-bred first starters will create interest in the Time To Shop at TAB Plate (1100m).

Disgraceful, a half-brother to the Group One Sires' Produce Stakes and Group One Champagne Stakes winner, will debut for trainer Chris Waller and owner John Singleton.

The three-year-old has won a Rosehill barrier trial in preparation for his debut.
