The Australian Turf Club will throw the gates open for the summer's feature race day at Warwick Farm to attract families to the track for the Villiers Stakes.
The free entry on December 22 has been supported by Liverpool City Council with Mayor Ned Mannoun saying he hoped the locals would support the meeting.
"The Christmas Inglis Villiers Race Day is an opportunity for residents to experience a free day out at a prime racing venue, celebrate the festive season and have fun," Mannoun said.
The free on-course activities include a jumping castle, "reindeer" rides, face painting, carollers and an appearance by Santa.
The Group Two Villiers Stakes (1600m) is Sydney's summer showpiece and will be supported by the Listed Razor Sharp (1200m) and the Inglis Nursery (1000m) for two-year-olds.
