Werribee Cup winner Unusual Suspect is among 12 nominations for the Group Three Summer Cup at Rosehill on Boxing Day.
The former American galloper won his first race under Australian trainer Mick Kent when he narrowly claimed the Werribee feature last Sunday.
He is one of three interstate entries for the Summer Cup (2400m) along with the Tony McEvoy-trained Le Roi and in-form Queensland mare Poste Restante.
Bjorn Baker has thrown in an entry for Christmas Cup winner Cantonese, although the rejuvenated stayer is likely to bypass the race in favour of the Perth Cup on New Year's Day.
Other entries for Sydney's staying feature include Christmas Cup runner-up Iggi Pop and Brightest for Guy Walter.
Nominations for the Summer Cup have been extended until Thursday.
