Winning a race at Eagle Farm is a good way to improve a tarnished reputation.
When Trilione entered trainer Desleigh Forster's stables a month ago, she came with some unflattering descriptions.
Non-winner, unreliable, headstrong are some of the adjectives that have been used to sum up Trilione - and they're just the polite ones.
But Forster was more forgiving after Trilione led all the way with Michael Cahill aboard to win the Fillies and Mares Class Three (1200m).
"From what I've been told she used to work herself up into a muck lather in Sydney but she hasn't put a foot wrong since she's been here," Forster said.
"I thought today the hot and humid weather might affect her but she was completely relaxed in the stalls when she was being saddled up and took it all in her stride."
Now that Trilione has rediscovered winning form, Forster will test her in better company, although feature races are on the backburner for now.
"We won't aim too high," Forster said.
"The main goal today was to get her confidence up with a win which she's done. Now we can look at some fillies and mares races in Saturday grade for her."
Trilione won one race in the care of Anthony Cummings and two under Joe Pride.
Cahill says there is no reason why Trilione can't repeat Wednesday's win.
"She was very calm when I rode her in a jump-out recently and she was the same today so I can't fault her manners," Cahill said.
"I was able to dictate and control the tempo. On the home turn she had plenty of petrol left in the tank and I thought they'd struggle to run her down.
"If she can handle the step up to 1350m or 1400m it will open up a few more options for her."
Meanwhile, the Magic Millions Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast on January 12 is the goal for Rocky King after his dominant win in the Class Four Handicap.
Trainer Tom Bourke was relieved to see Rocky King back to his best after his failure at his previous Eagle Farm start in November.
"It took him about three weeks to come right after that race and the only thing I can put it down to is he might've picked up a virus," Bourke said.
"I'll give him his next run at the Gold Coast on New Years day and if he handles the 1200m then he's probably earned a shot at the Magic Millions Cup."
