An eye injury which kept Peace Force out of the Dane Ripper Stakes has not interrupted her preparation for the final Group One race of the season.

The five-year-old will be one of two Gerald Ryan-trained runners in the Tattersall's Tiara (1400m) for fillies and mares at the Gold Coast on June 20.

Peace Force will be joined by Solicit in the Tiara after gaining a narrow win over her stablemate in the Glenlogan Park Stakes at Doomben on May 23.

Solicit, who beat Peace Force in the Darley Jewel, returned as intended to Ryan's Hawkesbury satellite stable with the plan always to give her a month between runs.

Peace Force was scheduled to run in Saturday's Dane Ripper at Doomben in which Hazard upset the favourite Catkins.

"She must have got a whack in the eye but we don't know how it happened," Ryan said.

"We had to treat her which meant she couldn't run on Saturday.

"But she hasn't missed any work and has won off a month break before, so it's no concern going into the Tiara a bit fresh."

Solicit, a close second to her stablemate in the Darley Jewel before they met again in the Glenlogan, is likely to end her career in the Tiara.

Formerly trained in Melbourne by Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra, the dual Group One placegetter was sent to Ryan in the hope a change of scenery could get her back on track.

"I'm very happy with her," Ryan said.

"She seems to like being at Hawkesbury and has done well since her last start.

"We may ask to gallop her at Rosehill on Saturday just to tune her up."

Catkins' trainer Chris Waller said the popular grey mare had come through the Dane Ripper well.

"I was pleased I ran her. I thought I had her pretty forward but she was soft and there is improvement there," he said.

"She has pulled up well and she'll have a few days at the beach."
