Planteur and Jakkalberry are likely to spearhead Marco Botti's raiding party on Dubai in 2013.
The Newmarket-based Italian trainer plans to send a total of six horses, firstly sending over four including Fanunalter, Fattsota and Kingsdesire.
He will wait until February before unleashing his two big guns who could be in action first at Meydan on Super Saturday on March 9, building up to the Dubai World Cup meeting there three weeks later.
Botti is hoping Planteur will get an invitation for the world's richest raCe itself in which he was third last spring.
Jakkalberry will go for either that race or the Dubai Sheema Classic after doing his trainer proud in 2012, winning the American St Leger and finishing third in the Melbourne Cup.
"I'm sending four horses there next week. Hopefully they will do well. We like to take horses to Dubai and perhaps Planteur and Jaakalberry will join them late in February to make six in all," Botti told At The Races.
"We are hoping Planteur will have an invitation in the Dubai World Cup.
"He ran a good race in it last season and he obviously handled the track so whether he will go for Super Saturday and then the Dubai World Cup we will just see how he comes to hand but that would be the plan.
"Jakkalberry ran in the Sheema Classic in 2012 and the options are that race again or the Dubai World Cup, one or the other, but I think he will probably go for the big meeting."
