Field of 13 for G1 Moir Stakes at Valley

Wednesday 30 September 2015, 10:34am

Unbeaten filly Petits Filous headlines a field of 13 declared for the Group One Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley.

The Ciaron Maher-trained Petits Filous is among a trio of three-year-olds in Friday night's 1000m weight-for-age sprint, along with fellow filly Fontiton and Hawkes Racing-trained colt Headwater.

Petits Filous has barrier five, one inside defending champion Buffering.

The Joe Pride-trained Ball Of Muscle has barrier one while Brook Road has drawn the outside.

The Moir is one of four stakes races on Friday night's program which also includes the Stutt Stakes for three-year-olds, a traditional lead-up to the Caulfield Guineas.
