Damian Lane will miss the Caulfield Guineas meeting after being suspended for careless riding.
Lane was found guilty of careless riding at the 250m on Heza Ripper in Saturday's The Cove Hotel Plate at Caulfield and suspended for eight meetings.
His suspension is due to start after Sunday's Turnbull Stakes meeting at Flemington.
Lane pleaded not guilty and said the incident happened quickly and he tried to straighten his mount.
"I don't believe there is much I could've done and the interference is minor," Lane said.
Jordan Childs was suspended for seven meetings after being found guilty of careless riding on Lonhtime in the Spotlight Handicap soon after the start.
