Trainer Darren Weir's Group One winning duo of Lucky Hussler and Stratum Star head the weights for the Toorak Handicap at Caulfield.
A winner of the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley in the autumn, Lucky Hussler has been given 58kg in the Saturday's Group One 1600m-race.
Stratum Star, who scored his maiden Group One success in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes at Caulfield on September 26, has 1kg less in the $400,000 race.
Victory by Stratum Star on Saturday would cement a rare double for Weir who won the Sir Rupert Clarke and Toorak Handicap last year with Trust In A Gust.
Leebaz and Strawberry Boy are next in the weights with 56kg.
The Chris Waller-trained Amicus is the highest weighted mare with 54.5kg ahead of Noble Protector with 54kg.
Amicus, a winner at her first two runs back from a spell at Randwick and Flemington, finished last in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes while imported mare Noble Protector knocked up in the straight after racing on the speed in the Let's Elope Stakes at Flemington on September 12.
Noble Protector has since run second in a Cranbourne 1190m barrier trial.
Disposition, a nose second to Stratum Star in the Sir Rupert Clarke, is among the entries and shares early favouritism with Lucky Hussler at $5.50 ahead of Stratum Star at $6.50 and Noble Protector at $8.50.
There are 20 nominations for the race which has a field limit of 18 plus two emergencies.
Moonovermanhattan and Sydney visitor Foreign Prince would be the two emergencies if all 20 horses are acceptances on Wednesday.
