Hugh Bowman has confirmed Winx as his Cox Plate ride with Nash Rawiller to partner her Chris Waller-trained stablemate Preferment.
Bowman had the choice of the pair while the Hong Kong-based Rawiller will replace Blake Shinn who was suspended at Seymour on Sunday and misses Saturday's $3 million Cox Plate.
Glen Boss rides Kermadec, the third of the Waller-trained runners.
Kermadec is the $5.50 equal Cox Plate favourite with Criterion with Winx sharing the second line at $6 with Irish visitor Highland Reel while Preferment is an $11 chance.
Waller has confirmed Spring Champion Stakes winner Vanbrugh will be among the first acceptors for the Victoria Derby but a final decision on whether he runs on October 31 will be made later this week.
