Full field declared for Victoria Derby

A capacity field of 16 plus one emergency has been declared for the $1.5 million Victoria Derby.

The Mick Price-trained Tarzino is the favourite for Saturday's 2500m classic for three-year-olds at Flemington ahead of the barrier draw which will be conducted later on Wednesday.

Godolphin trainer John O'Shea has two Derby runners, Shards and Etymology, while David Hayes and Tom Dabernig have Geelong Classic winner Extra Choice in the field with stablemate Bullish Stock the emergency.
