Star colt Exosphere has drawn an inside barrier for the straight-track Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes.
The Godolphin-owned Golden Rose winner has barrier two in a field of 12 for the $500,000 sprint for three-year-olds and is expected to be the shortest priced favourite on Saturday's Victoria Derby Day program at Flemington.
Exosphere's stablemate Mogador has barrier seven, while Chris Waller's two runners Counterattack (barrier 11) and Japonisme (barrier three) will attempt to give their trainer his third straight win in the race after Zoustar in 2013 and Brazen Beau last year.
A field of 15 has been declared for the Group One Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) with 15 runners also to line up in the Group One Myer Classic for fillies and mares.
Stay With Me, the lone filly in the Myer Classic, has drawn the outside gate.
The barrier draw for the Victoria Derby, which has attracted a full field of 16 and one emergency, will be held later on Wednesday.
