Real Impact to stand at Arrowofield Stud

Tuesday 15 March 2016, 6:14am

Japanese horse Real Impact, the winner of last year's George Ryder Stakes, will stand at Arrowfield Stud in the new season.

He is the first son of Japanese super stallion Deep Impact to stand in Australia.

Real Impact beat Criterion and Kermadec to win the Group One George Ryder before running second to three-year-old Kermadec in the Doncaster Mile.

In 2011, Real Impact became the first three-year-old to win the famous Yasuda Kinen.

The eight-year-old is serving his first book of mares at Shadai Stallon Station.

Real Impact will be joined on Arrowfield's stallion roster by Scissor Kick and Panzer Division, both Group winning sons of the stud's champion sire Redoute's Choice.
