Moreira scales new heights in Hong Kong

Joao Moreira has passed his own Hong Kong riding record with a treble at Sha Tin taking him to 146 winners for the season.

Moreira will have to sit out two of the remaining 11 meetings through a suspension from Sunday's meeting but has his sights on hitting the 160 mark.

"I'll aim for 160 and I think I can do it," Moreira told the South China Morning Post.

The Brazilian, who arrived in Hong Kong in 2013, set the bar at 145 last season.
