It's a measure of Desleigh Forster's ability as racehorse trainer that she has genuine winning chances in black-type races in two states on Saturday.
When I'm Cool takes on odds-on favourite Better Than Ready in the Listed Falvelon Quality at Eagle Farm, Adebisi will be parading in the enclosure before the start of the Group One Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield.
Capping her stable numbers to no more than 10 in work at any one time, Forster has managed to win 23 races from only 55 starters this season.
There are some significant factors against I'm Cool in the Falvelon Quality, but Forster thinks he's good enough to overcome them.
The four-year-old is taking on open company for the first time and will be in receipt of only 2kg from topweight Funtantes, a Group Two winner, who has earned almost $500,000 more in prizemoney.
Forster isn't one to dwell on negatives and believes I'm Cool has the talent to win the race named in honour of his sire.
"I've always had a good opinion of him and if he's heading in the direction I think he is then he's going to have to measure up in a race like this," he said.
"Michael (Cahill) had offers for a few other runners in the race and he's elected to stick with him and his good barrier will allow him to get all the favours in running."
I'm Cool has led at his past two starts but Forster is adamant the gelding is better when he can take a trail in his races.
"When he gets to the front he just gets a bit lost and he's much better off when he's got something to chase," she said.
"His run last start at Rosehill was super because it was a bog and he was dipping and diving all the way down the straight."
Forster says Adebisi has adapted to the anti-clockwise direction after he hung out on the home turn at Caulfield before winning the Rubiton Stakes on February 9.
