Winx retains No.1 spot on turf

Arrogate and Winx remain at the top of the world rankings with the American horse on 134 and Australia's champion given a rating of 132, retaining her position as the best on turf.

Hartnell is equal with Gun Runner and Jack Hobbs on 123 and the next best Australian with TJ Smith Stakes winner Chautauqua on 122 and once again the world's highest ranked sprinter.

Jameka is equal eighth after her win in the BMW during the autumn carnival.

The latest rankings take in the period from January 1 to April 9.

Arrogate has won the Pegasus and Dubai World Cup this year while Winx has remained unbeaten in four starts including three at Group One level - the Chipping Norton, George Ryder and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
