Golden Slipper favourite Overreach has polarised opinions on Saturday's race with one betting operator declaring it will take on the Gai Waterhouse-trained filly while others have wound her in after she drew barrier one.
Sportsbet reacted to the draw by listing Overreach at $1.90, with as much as $2.30 available with most other firms.
Centrebet price assessors ignored what seems a favourable draw, leaving the favourite at her overnight quote and declaring they were keen to take her on.
"She is the one to beat and barrier one should suit, but anything can happen in a Golden Slipper," a spokesman for the firm said.
"If she misses the start half a length she could be in trouble.
"Only five favourites have won the race in 30 years so we are happy to let the punters on at $2.30."
The TAB also has Overreach at $2.30 as does Sportingbet Australia.
Second pick in post barrier draw markets is the Darley candidate Sidestep at a best price of $11 with the New Zealand filly Ruud Awakening and the David Payne-trained Criterion on the next line at $12.
Early favourite Villa Verde is the big drifter at $13 after drawing barrier 17.
