Armidale meeting called off

An irrigation malfunction has forced the Armidale race meeting to be called off.

Racing NSW stewards determined a section of the track near the 600m-mark was unsafe and called off Tuesday's meeting before it started.

The fixture has officially been postponed as authorities try to find an alternative.
