The Villiers Stakes is the long-term goal for Loaded after his runaway win in Saturday's Tattersall's Mile at Doomben.
Loaded ($3.10), who won at Eagle Farm last week, handled the seven day back-up with ease when he scored by 1-1/4 lengths from Pepperwood ($41) with Boogie Shoes ($31) a short neck away third.
"Last week at Eagle Farm was the race we targeted him for and to win at Listed level seven days later is something special," trainer Grant Allard said.
"I've got a really good opinion of this horse. He's definitely going places."
Loaded has thrived in Brisbane which was the main reason Allard decided to aim him at the race.
"This race was worth $51,500 to the winner so it was nothing to be sneezed at and when they're fit and happy like he is you know they're going to be competitive," he said.
Allard is already considering feature-race options during summer for Loaded who is likely to be spelled.
"Something like the Villiers would be on the radar because he's got an excellent record at the mile and should get into it reasonably well at the weights because he's still on the way up," he said.
"Then there are other races up here like the Bernborough Handicap during the summer which would suit him."
Jockey Tim Bell's plan to track Lucky Hussler, the $2.60 favourite, went according to the script.
"I wanted Lucky Hussler to be on my inside coming to the turn because I wanted to be in a position where I was dictating to him and that's how it panned out," Bell said.
"He tries his guts out this horse and I was pretty confident I had them covered when he was travelling so easily on the home turn."
While Loaded had a trouble-free run, Lucky Hussler was badly blocked at the 350-metre mark before finishing fifth.
Loaded was the second leg of a winning double for Allard, after Style bounced back to form in the Tattersall's Arcade Handicap (1200m) after a lacklustre seventh at Eagle Farm last Saturday.
Allard, who is based at Gosford, has been training for five years after a stint with John Hawkes where he was the strapper of champion Lonhro and triple Group One winner Viscount.
