In-form jockey James Orman is clear to maintain his association with Niccanova despite being suspended at Doomben.
Orman rode a treble at Thursday's meeting on Alderman, Paleontologist and Mountbatten but fell foul of stewards for his ride on the latter.
He was suspended for six days after pleading guilty to causing interference on Mountbatten near the line.
Stewards agreed to defer the suspension until midnight on Saturday week meaning Orman can ride at the Sunshine Coast Cup meeting that day.
Orman is set to ride Niccanova in the Listed Cup which is the last feature race of the summer carnival.
He has ridden Niccanova to win the Listed Brisbane Handicap and Listed Bernborough Handicap this summer.
Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into Nathan Day's ride on equal favourite Helsun who ran third in the second race at the Doomben meeting.
Day was questioned about his riding at the 400m and evidence was also taken from trainer Danny Marley.
